    Does still pregnant.

Still have some pregnant does on camera this week. Guess they got bred late.

I have one or two around the house that look pregnant still. The other 5 or 6 have dropped already. And a couple have brought their fawns out, the rest are keeping them bedded down.

I have one here at the house that has been coming out feeding heavily in the evenings. It's strange because she's alone. I never see solo deer here at my house. She must be distancing herself from the herd getting ready to drop

Saw one in Uvalde county yesterday that still looked plump.

Really tight sex ratio and you will see some born in late June to early July. I kind of think the later the fawns are born the better.

Right down the road from you, I had one born between July 22 - 27th last year! That put her being bred in mid January.

But everyone says the rutting is done by November lol

Why do you think this? Not in a combative way.

Fawns can, and are born, from late April all the way into August. Depends if the doe got bred, or took the breeding the first time or second or third. Fawns can and are bred but not typically until January.

Kurdawg, I have seen doe fawns being chased in late December, which puts them dropping in June.

The biggest amount of does are bred in November. Some are bred in October(matriarch does). Where you and I live the rut is actually before archery season opens

I got photos of a pregnant doe on 6-12 by 6-20 she had a tiny spotted thing following her around.
