Tivo???

Question for the green screen......

I only have regular tv and a sling subscription. Explain to me this tivo thing or others similar to it for recording tv shows. If i were to get one am I able to record shows from the sling or just shows on regular tv channels.

I'm clueless about how it works!

I haven't had Tivo is a few years but I think you will only be able to record regular tv with it. I cut the cord 2 months ago and only have had Sling for a month now and haven't learned all the tricks yet, but I think you can go back and watch previous shows with out recording them.
