Id call to make sure theres a spot open before hand. The one by froggies stays full. The other I know about is a few blocks from there to the north.

Also there was a spot listed in the classifieds

Down there a pedal drive like a Hobie would be awesome. If yak only, might look around Charlies closer back towards Seadrift. You can put in there, go across the ICW and can fish Shoalwater and the Lagoon real easy. Always lots of reds in them both....

I put in at Charlie's and have easy access to Shoalwater. Good place to fish.

The last time I tried to take the pop up down there everything was full. Magnolia beach has free camping but no electric or water hook ups.

Look at Indianola Marina for RV hook up if POC is full. The hook ups are on the mouth of the lake and bay. Can kayak fish all around powderhorn lake and the ranch house area. You can make the short drive to POC in about 20 minutes and launch wherever you want.
For a kayak, look into a Hobie pro angler 12' or 14' with mirage drive system. Austin Canoe and kayak rents out these models and others if you don't own or want to buy one.

Also look into staying somewhere in Seadrift. It's only a ten minute drive and you go by Charlie's bait camp. Can launch there or go into POC for more areas.
