Anyone experienced with HF's Quick Hitch?

I just picked up a 2015 Kubota Sub-compact utility tractor (25 hp), FEL, box blade, and tow bar. I won't use the box blade much, but would rather not fight the 3-point hitch hookup/removal. From the reviews on the HF site, most say they have had to also purchase an adapter to make it fit right (not in stores), primarily for older attachments. I'd rather not pay the Kubota price for theirs if I can get a QH for less than $100.

My attachment's top pin has a 3/4" diameter. Will I need the $16 adapter or will it fit properly as is?

I bought the Easy Hitches from TSC. They come in pairs (unlike the big hitch that is one piece), and one fits on each lift arm. Cost about $150. If I had it to do over, I would buy the Pat's hitches from Northern Tool. You can get bushings for your implement pins that have a shoulder on them and choices of two different holes ( to pin to your implement with a slotted roll pin ) in order to space them correctly. You then just back up to your implement, raise your arms, and voila, you are hooked up ! Still have to get off and hook your top link, but that's easy. I haven't been able to post pics the last three days, but I'll try one now.

These are the bushings, but they will not fit my hitch. You see I'm still using the clip pins in the end of the implement pin and I added a large washer. The bushings pictured here are supposed to fit the Pat 's hitches on Northern's website.

I'm using the Pat's Quick Hitch. Pretty happy with it. Kind of finicky to set up. Still don't have it aligned perfectly, but it's working pretty good.

I went ahead and bought a quick hitch made by Woods, but bought it at Cabelas. It was quite a bit more expensive than HF, but I wanted something that was of higher quality. Did it matter? I dunno, but I haven't torn it up yep. My Kubota is 46 hp, it's not huge, but I'm always surprised at what implements I can destroy.

Having said that, I LOVE my quick hitch. It seems that I'm always changing out my shredder and box blade. The QH is some of the best money I've ever spent. It took a bit to set up my implement for acceptance into the QH, but the time I've saved over the past two years is immeasurable. Did I say that I LOVE my QH?

I'm new at this tractor business, so excuse the ignorance. My box blade is a small 4' wide Land Pride brand. At the top, it has a 3/4" pin for the top connect to the 3-point hitch on the tractor. Just below that, is a 1 1/4" bolt with sleeve that holds the box braces together and would be for the top hook of the QH. While raters don't make it clear, many complain about having to order an adapter to make the HF hitch work on their implements and I presume the top hook is the issue.

I may have to go buy one and see what the issue is, if any. I can always take it back if it doesn't work.

Just thought I'd update what I did, the troubles, and the remedy. I have a Kubota BX2670 subcompact utility tractor, a 4' Land Pride box blade, and a hitch dohicky they threw in. I bought the HF quick hitch for $86, with the 20% off coupon they continue to send. This do-dad has a center hookup that has adjustable pin holes. I recognized that the bottom holes were where the hook should be to allow all 3 hooks to seat properly on the box blade. No matter what I tried, it would not seat in the bottom hooks of the QH. After lots of adjustments and sweat in this heat, I realized that the top pin on the box blade wasn't seating either, causing the others to hang too high. I went to Tractor Supply and found a 3/4" spacer the correct length and replaced the larger spacer that came with the blade, placing it over the 3/4" bolt.

This little dude works great now, so if anyone else gets a subcompact with implements, be sure to check the top connect pin to ensure it is seating in the top hook.
