    Serious dry spell

I am in a serious dry spell when it comes to hunting. Maybe not ducks but everything else I can't seem to me in the right place at the right time. It's been a year an a half since I killed a hog, and 2 and a half for a deer. I've actually gone 20+ times for hogs but have seen zilch.

Thursday night my dad even looked at me as said there is a 99.9% chance we are going to see alot of hogs tonight and you gessed it nothing. I'm going to start charging people to just show up to their place because the hogs dissappear.

Anyone else in a no kills funk?

Treat it the same as when you're single. Find you a big sow and pattern her...

That must be the problem. I need to cut back on my once a week baths.

Dry spells suck but they do happen. I tried everything and couldn't kill a deer for 4 years. Then last year I finally killed not 1 but 3 deer.

Hog hunting..: and shooting one in day light hours is almost impossible this time of year. It's done .... Just not often, on May places. Fnd might have the best I've seen

Happens with deer, especially on small acres. Patterns change, and if their pattern doesn't involve your location you can buy a product to change that... That's the game ( to me)

I don't go either unless my he times right and conditions are in my favor ( and still strike out some). But I won't knowingly educate the animal just for the sake of hunting. Late season if freezer was empty I'd have to lower the standards. But have worked well for me over the years.

I think I've dove hunted the last 5-6 years on opening weekend, while everyone else is sweeting and stinking up the place, all is well and good at my locations
