Anyone personally know someone who has shot and killed someone with a derringer for self defense?

My list of people I know that have shot and killed someone is pretty narrow. I don't know of anywhere a derringer was issued.

I'm with Curt, try as a I may, I don't know anyone who has killed a person outside of combat. None of them used a derringer.

I don't know him, but a buddy of mines cop friend always Carries a North America arms 22mag around his neck, one day he went to the store and forgot his wallet and pistol at home and when he got back home met a guy with both wallet and pistol in hand at the front door. They went to the ground and my buddy's friend shot the guy under the chin with the 22 Mag and was DRT.

I have this gun and a Glock in the door of my truck!! I haven't shot anyone with it though.
