what kind of grass is this and how do I get rid of it? I have bermuda tiff grass. This showed up not too long ago and it grows like crazy. suggestions are appreciated.

Mix of monkey grass and crab grass from the look of it. Pull it out by the roots.

Can definitely see Nutsedge. Use "Image" or the active herbicide similar. I would assume that image would work on crabgrass as well.
Mow, mow, mow to keep that stuff at bay it will go away soon. Fertilize and water in either at night or early morning.Comment

Nutgrass. Only way to get rid of it is to dig up your whole yard. Rent a backhoe and dig down 3' and you might get it all.Comment
