    Bow for a kiddo

    All-

I have a buddy who is looking to buy a bow for his son. He's a little guy, 7 or 8 and in 2nd grade. What would y'all recommend? He might eventually make it to the field with it, but is just looking at target practice for now. Any info. would be great!

That raises another question I should have thought about first. What poundage is safe? He's an athletic kid and plays several organized sports, including gymnastics. I know it would depend on what he could pull, but what's a good place to start?

Maybe the Mathews Genesis? Its not draw length specific and will get him started and no changing cams or adjusting while he grows.

I would have to say the Genesis would be the best bet.

the genisis would be a great bow as well, though he probly wouldent hunt with it ever, the menace is made on the genisis frame but has the draw cycle of a regular compund
