In Texas.......I live here. Wimberley, A Little Slice of Heaven. My neighborhood is full of swimming holes right now as the wet weather creeks are full and clear. Next would be PINS.

Lake Tahoe or Breckenridge in February with 100' base and 18 inches of freshie.

My wife's grandparents have a cabin in timberon new Mexico they allow us to use like it's ours. Cell phones don't work TV doesn't work, and the locals don't like out of Towner's so they never talk to you. Elk and mule deer are everywhere around the cabin. My complaints are its not in Texas and you can't grill outside.

Several times a year, well over a hundred miles off the Texas coast with some close and dear friends. Off the grid and living like PIRATES! We eat like kings, we laugh, drink and fight.....with blood on the decks EVERYWHERE!

Another Off Grid spot...and yet again, it's always with dear friends and family. Bare bones camping on a 66,000 acre strip of sand, that has stood for eons of time! A million acres of King Ranch behind and 618,000 miles of Gulf out front.

When I want to unwind alone and or with one other close friend or family member, between PINS & the King Ranch, I am frequently found here. Once again - OFF GRID in the southern stretches I roam.

My family and I live here @ 1700 ft elevation. Boerne & Kerrville with Grandparents buried in Fredericksburg. Not leaving, here for the rest of our lives.

Great pics as usual Rob! I love the coast as well when I need a break. Some of my best times ever have been wading the surf at first light my son and ol man tearing up the trout.

Cant beat the hill country. Love sticking south Texas critters but home is in the hills.
