We just picked up a Sportsman 570 and absolutely love it, we were out the door for 7,400 which is roughly half of what I would want in a ranger if we went that route. One day I will get a ranger but for now that Sportsman with a utility rack on the receiver hitch does everything i need with a passenger on the back.

Just read that you popped on a ranger! Nice!! Pics??

Those mini truck side by side things are for old men that putt around.

I can jump hills and stuff on my 4 wheeler......and go fast.

in the side by side... I can haul 4-6 people, a full cooler, 6 guns/bows, drink beer, listen to music, hold a conversation, not feel every bump on the ranch, corn roads with road feeder, go fast ...comfortably, AND ...not get bugs in my teeth.

I have a Rhino and will follow a 4 wheeler anywhere

It won't be able to follow me if we're both carrying 300 pounds of corn and 2 people

UTV gets the nod hands down in this poll

But ... a beater Samurai, Jeep or Cherokee would do a lot of the same things, negate the need for the trailer and could ride in the AC without a payment

My question is what do you guys prefer based on experiences a four wheeler or side by side? Both have there pros and cons.. Right now I really need something to get me out in the woods without using my truck the way I do.. I like that fourwheelers are cheaper and they can get into more places with less of a hassle they just arent as comfortable.. The ranger is comfortable and can get me to alot of place but its bulkier and bigger.. I also dont have a big enough trailor to haul the ranger right now so thats another expense I have to look at.. What advice can you guys give me before I make my purchase.. My credit checked out good and approved.. Now it's just up to me..
Do yourself a favor and get the side by side
I got a 4wheeler and yes i love it but it doesn't have the bed for equipment or the extra room for a girlfriend, wife, child which is the number one reason i want one
I want to be able to take my wife and daughter out but with a 4wheeler thats almost impossible for my 6 month old daughter

If i had the cash i would trade in my 4wheeler for a side by side in a second!

Get a can of snow seal and spray that case real well.
