Drive you a post near it and try to straighten it up with a guy wire, then drive five or so steel, ten-penny, equally spaced nails around the base of the tree about six inches up from the ground. Dive them in at least 3 inches each. I know this sounds weird, but my grandfather showed me this trick many years ago. He did it to a peach tree that was old and dying and the tree perked up and produced more peaches than ever the next few years. What have you got to lose?
