When will we unite??

What specifically do you suggest we unite about and tell our government?

Hate to use France as an example but some tragedies unite countries. We could do the same if we stepped back and realized Obama wasn't any more responsible for Orlando than Bush was for 911.

All of our leaders on both sides of the aisle recognize terrorism is a problem. They just disagree on how to handle it. Hopefully common sense prevails in the wake of this tragedy but the fact that the dude was born here presents a problem. None of as want more government surveillance but more government intervention seems to be the only way this could have been prevented. I certainly don't have any answers but hopefully people smarter than me figure it out without infringing on constitutional rights.

LOL............u r just making to much sense on this post! So much knee jerk reaction to a really BIG issue. YES, they need to die immediately but the plan has to make sense...........unlike the Patriot Act..........which was also knee jerk! We been there done that!!! I was told by a "full bird" Colonel point blank that this could be over if the special forces were truly unleashed in less than 60 days. Politics has got to be considered but it cannot STOP what must be done!

There is only so much we can do from the outside looking in. One good step in the right direction would be for the non-radical Muslim world, domestic and foreign, to get off their asses and start policing their own. The world needs to marginalize and punish countries that allow/support the radical element.

Indivisible is a thing of the past. There are at least two, maybe three or more groups in this country that cannot live together. We don't want to live under their rules and they won't live under ours. Let's just get a divorce.

No chance we can unite unless we are forced to do so. Heck, even a conservative site like TBH cant unite, how the heck can we get the rest to come on board? I dont have the answer. I am afraid we will be forced to unite at the very last minute but it may be too late for America.

This is a well thought out post. Thank you for posting this. There is so much knee jerk reaction from both sides. The reality is that nobody wants terrorists in our country and certainly nobody wants to see these attacks occur. There are some fundamental differences in how each side wants to handle it. One is more diplomatic (Dems) and one is more into war (Repubs).

I think this is much bigger problem than just here at home. Until the world leaders decide to squash the problem it will never go away. It's time to take off the gloves and kill these cowards in their yard.
