Well, we did it...Got "Hitched!"
For about 2+ years now I've referred to my Lady/Best Friend and Love in a LOT of thread responses.
Susan and I have been dating for close to 4 years and now....it's official...
We are Husband and Wife...Best Friends to share our Golden Years together!
I've inherited 2 new step-daughters, 1 new step-son, 3 "weenie dogs" and a Cathoula named Myla.
Susan was there with me when we had to send Kuma to the "Rainbow Bridge." She cried more than me, I was trying to be tough you know. She has gained the love and respect of my 3 son's and their wives and I have NEVER known anyone with a bigger heart than this Lady has!
Our biggest challenge is she is a TCU grad and I'm a Red Raider...so we have a problem watching our 2 schools battle it out...lol! She LOVE'S football, baseball and understands my love for the outdoors, hunting and all that goes with it. I'm teaching her to shoot and she has rapidly got over her misconceptions of firearms...initially just scared to shoot.
Anyway, life sometimes provides something one may have thought they would never find again...at least for me, my heart is shared with a special Lady for what years the good Lord has in store for me.....
