    Odes utvs

So I just got on a new hunting lease and the terrain is to rough for me to drive my truck around so I am starting to look at some UTVS. I have had a couple people recommend the new ODES and they seem to have everything I want as well as having some good reviews. I was wondering if anyone has one themselves or has been in one and could let me know what they think of them.

I've never heard of them until your post. Now I'm curious myself.

I have a ODES UTV Dominator and it works great for our lease. The only issue I have had is when the motor is hot it will not start due to high compression issue. I have only had that happen once though. It is 800CC, has front and rear winch system, Power tilt bed, push button and remote start, and enough LED lights to blind you. All in all a good machine.

They are good looking machines and seem to come with a lot of options. I wonder where the engines are made? I assume they are Hisun since it looks like a Rhino. If that is the case I would go with Benche. They are a Texas company and are great for parts and warranty. The Benche Cowboy is also more of a Polaris knockoff instead of the Rhino knockoff. Looking at the Odes website the warranty seems a little sketchy:

General Parts Not Covered Under Warranty(Odes)

Battery, Spark Plugs, Cables, Drive Belts, Air Filters, Front / Rear Brake Pads, Bushings , Light Bulbs, Fuses, Rubber Parts, Front / Rear Tires, Front / Rear Rims, Gear / Engine Oil, Front / Rear Brake Rotors, Bearings, Floor Boards / Plastics / Window / Roof / Fuel Filters / Steering Wheels, Motor Mount Bushings, Wear and Tear parts, Water damage, wrecked components, racing or modified parts.

            Benche:
Virtually every mechanical, electrical, and electronic component on your Bennche unit is covered. So when you are in need of repairs anywhere in the U.S., you can rest assure that you are covered.

Disclaimer: Although I am trying to be objective I am affiliated with a Benche dealership so take that for what it's worth.

Just drove one of these and wow!!! It’s nicer than my tundra. Incredibly heavy duty built front end on it. The upper arms look like a peice off a tank. Seems like odes is growing. Defitly worth a look. Cheaper than a Polaris from what I’ve seen, and boatloads of options.

How much money are you saving vs one of the known brands?

My grandfather has one. I've driven it quite a bit. It's a nice machine with lots of features, but there are 2 main issues I have with them.

                          1. They are loud. They are the loudest UTV I've ever been around. don't know why, but they are.

                          2. Shifting gears is rough. They don't shift very easy. There have been others I have talked to that have the same issues.

A guy on our lease has one and it came with everything you would add on to a Ranger. LED light bars, roof, winsheild and front and rear winches. I think it drives and rides nice. It is louder than other brands. Shortly after he had it the hydraulic assisted bed had an issue and would not lower. He took it in to a shop that sold Odes and it took a long time to get parts and the shop was saying it was hard to get the warranty honored. They have since quit selling them. The other thing I don’t care for is the bed is a little smaller than a Ranger. But from what I understand they are much less than a “plain” Ranger
