Wade fishing the keys?

The wife and I will be in islamorada Florida the last week of this month. Does anyone know of any good places to put some fish on a stringer? I won't have a boat but would love to wade around.

You can go to Long Key State Park and wade a lot of flats there. If you walk the trail going east-ish from the parking lot through the mangroves, you come out to an off-the-beaten-path area where you'll probably be the only person there (other than an occasional boat).

I'd look into renting Kayaks also.

There is also lots of bridges you can fish off. I have caught some decent mangrove snapper from bridges in the keys. You will also see tarpon but I've never got them to bite.
