Folks, I posted the full story on the 2016 Surf Fishing thread. Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. This is why Im starting a thread of its own cause I am still pumped about it.
I landed my personal best shark off the beach. It was a 8'4" beast of a bull shark. We estimated it around 350-400 pounds. It was caught off the Padre Island National Seashore. Pics do not do it justice. They just do not show the huge girth on it. The videos help out a little though. We could have gotten much better pics if we drug it up to dry sand but I wanted to keep her where water would still flow through her gills.
