    Overhead Feed Bin Pad Thickness

I got a 30 ton overhead feed bin arriving in a few weeks at the ranch and was wandering how thick the concrete pad needs to be. Total weight will be around 70,000lbs. Pad will be 15' x 15'. Is 3000 psi okay?

      I'm around Durant Oklahoma
The soil where I was wanting to set it as is pretty sandy. I'll call an engineer that I work with and get him to come look at it. I did a lil research after you mentioned getting an engineer and now I'm seeing better be safe than sry. Thx

Can you make it tornado proof. Or anchor it down?

you're in an active seismic and prolly a high wind zone area, Get your engineer buddy to look at it.
Designing foundations is part of my job description, dont play around with this.
