    Coyote help!!

So I'm working on a location tonight that's about 70 acres, right behind the Bass Pro Shop in grapevine/lewisville, and I've got coyote troubles. On this 70 acres about 30 of them were just cleared out. (No more trees) and the pad is about 10 acres. Also on this land there's a small bobcat and hogs. I've seen all three in person. So I pull on this location and and there's 3 coyotes on a hill. They just sat there. Watching. Then 2 more show up. Then 3 leave. The remaining 2 start yelling and howling and hollering, then I snap a pic. Then the other show up again. What are they doing and am I gunna have trouble with them tonight? I have little to no exp with them. Usually they are more scared of me, not the case. These suckers are brave. I shouted and blew my air horn and made no difference. Also I think they bark at danger and howl to bring more in. All I have on hand is a Buck hunting knife and wasp spray. What do you think of all this?

Personally, I think you need to go look around on the ground for your man card. It has obviously fallen out of your pocket.

            Ummm....huh?!

Serious note, if you are being serious, then go by them some nasty dog food, wait up wind at about 2.5' away with knife, when yote comes in close.....rest is history. They won't hurt you, but they are territorial creatures. They just wanted to see what was up and going on. Carry on and enjoy watching them.

What are you trying to accomplish?
                To kill/trap them?
Do you own a 22-250 or similar?
                What's the question?

Soon the rest of them will show up, so erect a marker where you used to be, get your will in order, and die like a man..........

I am sorry but this was funny to read. You don't have anything to worry about. They aren't going to do a dang thing to you. And if they do they aren't that big maybe 30-40 pounds just kick em in the head or taint and they will go away.

PS I would use a pipe wrench before I messed around with a knife.

I'm working and just trying to figure out what they are doing. Like I said, I have little to no exp with them. They just seem brave and there's about 5-6 of them.

Is this on the airport property or over by the Hilton? I would be advise against any shooting or killing on airport property. We regularly bust people who trespass on airport property. Two guys got arrested by game wardens last year that I found hunting on the property. Game wardens have keys and patrol often.
