I own some yetis myself love the ruggedness of the coolers other than that the bags and drinks accessories I'm not paying those ridiculous prices if I can get something comparable or close to it for fraction of the price.

There is no doubt the Yeti is built better and is of higher quality. However,if the OT holds ice well and cost $250 less then I will be buying the OT.

Yea after the 16 hours I'm still going to buy the OT. 24-48 hours is what a soft side should last and for 250$less it wins hands down

Yeah I agree bags are 90% used for just the day.. For $300 I'll buy a cooler before a bag of i want ice to last longer

The Ozark Trail zipper is not leak proof. Not sure that will keep me from buying one......

My thinking is It's water I'm not overly worried if 8oz leaks out if it tips over. If it were red wine id understand

                  I agree Fred!

Thanks for the redneck scientific study. I will probably be heading that way. I bought the 70.00 AO cooler that is leak proof. 3 months in and it leaks.

                  Time for something new.

Agreed, not sure I have ever owned a small cooler that didn't leak when tipped over on the floorboard. Now if I can find one in here in SA. As long as it doesn't sweat on the outside, I think I am in.

The yeti is actually sweating much more than the OT it's puddling around the yeti zipper, but in all fairness to both with all this flood water you can cut the humidity with a butter knife.

I can not recall ever tipping a cooler over, so a leak proof zipper would be a moot point.

IMO if the OT has a substantial amount of ice at 36-48 hrs that's beyond acceptable for a BAG cooler
