    Upright freezer help

So i have a frigidair upright freezer and it has been frosting up the last couple weeks on the top. It is a frost free. Then starting yesterday the door ajar alarm keeps coming on. As far as i can tell the seal is good all the way around and it has been holding temp the entire time Just fine. Could there be something wrong with the seal that i can't see? Or is there something else i can check? Thanks in advance

I've been having the same problem, it's my seal. One small area in the bottom corner.

My freezer did that once and I finally saw that the strap from my backpack was hanging over and was allowing air to leak in. Moved the backpack to where it can't happen anymore and I was good to go. More than likely an air leak some where, at least I hope it's that simple for you

Does your freezer model pull a vacuum when you close the door? I had one once that started frosting up because the motor that draws the vacuum was giving out and it wasn't sealing as well.

I had the same issue with my garage fridge. For $5.00 I bought the Easy Grip Toilet Lock at Target a few years ago. It just adheres to the door face and the side. Unbuckle to open or close. It's in the children safety area. I'm sure Wally world or others have something similar.

Every single Frigidaire appliance I have ever had was a piece of crap. Never own another.

Sounds like a freezer I had. Bottom rear of the interior, there is a gap to pull/ circulate the air inside the freezer. Make sure it's not blocked by ice/ frost or packages.

This is the bottom inside corner. I want to say the seal was always like this but maybe not. Could this cause it to not b closing? From the outside it looks like it seals fine.
