Leon river. Watch out down stream!(eastland cty)

I hear Eastland got pounded early this am. Looks like it from the flooding. Stay safe out there.

Proctor is flooded as well at +19 feet above normal. And all of it will eventually end up in the Brazos along with what the other lakes are releasing as well.

Lake Sumerville is almost +22 above normal. Plus all the rains coming this week. They only think they have it bad down south now. It's gonna take some time for all this water to get down to normal again.

PK and Grandbury have their gates back open. Grandbury is releasing over 18,000cfs. Whitney Lake is going to rise again. It's +5ft over norm now. Hope it can catch some of the surge before they have to release down stream again. Lake Waco too.

I heard that a lady drowned in Breckenridge. Very sad and all that water is going to make it worse down south for sure.

A buddy of mine just drove through Glen Rose and the Brazos river was roaring at Big Rocks

My bad. It's pouring in eastland/ranger area now. Got a report that lake Leon was rising 3.5" every hour yesterday afternoon. Not good!

Even after all the rain we've had over the last couple of years since the drought broke , Lake Cisco and Hubbard Creek have remained way below capacity. That area has really been in the thunderstorm crosshairs lately - according to www.waterdatafortexas both lakes are finally full.

I live on Lake Cisco jerp..And it's full now! It's over the dam some...
Spoke with the mayor of Cisco and the City Mgr. they said the gates can't
be opened, cause they don't function anymore..And they have not been
maintained...Good work Cisco! There are many houses around the lake
under water at this time..Along with my dock, and my well house...
Northshore drive is closed at one end..And almost impassable frome the
other end.. I'm fortunate my house sits kinda up on a hill...The lake is
closed...Shoulda done this two days ago. And the hits just keep on coming.

Wow - how long has it been since the lake was that full? Water going over the dam does not sound good - any worries about how it will hold up?

Yep. Cisco and Hubbard Creek are both full as of yesterday. First time in a LONG time for both.

                          Rain predicted all week too.

I've been out here about 12 years, and I've never seen it up this much....
But it's a good thing, and a bad thing...I just feel sorry for the folks flooded out. But it's up about as far as it can go...

Yea, it was great, when I ask, who was responsible for the gates.
The look on their face was priceless......
I think, the folks with major damage,(and theres a lot)should get together
and file a class action suit against Cisco....
Because they are responisible for the flooding around the lake....
