Any ping pong players on the GS?????

About to buy a ping pong table for the barn. Should I be looking at outdoor tables to hold up to humidity?

And what brands would you recommend?

Can't go wrong with a Stiga or Kettler. I kept an indoor in my garage for 5 years with no problems.

We've got a Cornilleau 300M Outdoor in the office. It gets played on a lot and has held up well. I'll go take a pic of it and post it.

Nice table. Why did they go with an outdoor table indoors?

Our table needs a serious upgrade. We play a few times a day. Our table in the office gets lots of funny looks.

Love me some table tennis! Played in a celebrity tournament a few years ago hosted by Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle. He's a huge ping pong nut. Dirk and several other players played in it. We sucked but it was a cool experience.

Flex-O- Lite paddles are the best

That's a good question that nobody here can answer. I assume it was for durability. That or the person that ordered it didn't know any better or got a good deal on it.

When I was in China on the all American ping pong team I just loved playing ping pong with my flex-o-lite ping pong paddle

We had a Stiga table that was solid, kept it on the covered back porch and inside and it held up for years.

I kind of got into it for a while. Then after playing some people that were "really good" I realized I was wasting mine and their time haha. But it is fun.

We grew up with a table in the garage and also a billiard table. I have both now but have NEVER used the ping pong table..........it came with the billiards table I bought a few years ago. It is a lot of fun and I probably need to test out my skills!!!

For the long run, I'd sure do the outdoor table. Eventually the moisture will get to it. One little chip in the finish and it will start swelling up. Also, the casters and hardware are much better and will handle moving it around much longer.
