    Looking To Reload

Im looking for someone in the North San Antonio to South Austin area that reloads. I live in Wimberley and the closer the better. What I would like to do is work with someone on matching some ammo to my Browning A Bolt 270. I bowhunt 99% of the time these days but have several boxes of spent rounds that I would like to reload. You know for ARMAGEDON . Also need someone that can help me shoot until we find a match. I can shoot fine in the field but cant sit and just shoot this gun several times at a target. I broke my neck and back 2 years ago, I am fine, still verticle, but the recoil after about 10 rounds is felt for well over a week.
I am also about to purchase a Black Rifle and will be needing some 223 rounds done as well.
I am interested in learning so any thing I can help with (hands on) would be great.
I would like to meet someone that could turn into a hunting buddy. Have a couple small places in Wimberley I bow hunt on and a 1200 acre ranch in East Texas that is family owned that I enjoy going to and fishing and killing hogs so we might be able to work out some kind of trade.

I don't have any .270 dies at the moment so I'm no help in that department right now.

Some questions that come to mind include:
        Where abouts in Wimberly?
Do you have a range on-site?
What distance do you want zero at?
Do you have a bullet weight or type/style you want to use?
Is there a powder preference? Primer preference?
How many rounds are you going to want in the end?

What I have found however is within the 200 yards or so for shots most would take, the difference between a factory load that has been sighted in really has no different affect than a tuned load. Dead is dead no matter if you were aiming and POI was an inch different than what you thought. In fact, if you look at ballistic tables for the .270, the point blank range is something like muzzle out to 300 yards with a difference of only a few inches in rise/fall either way.

Here's a good link for reloaders to use for ballistic table calculations.

I've found that tuning a load to a specific gun can take a fair amount of time. I might be able to help after bow season???.
