    Any Physical Therapist on TBH? Need help!

    Good afternoon! Last night my wife and I had a good talk and I have decided that I want to go back to school and pursue another career. She is graduating with a Master's in Education at the end of this summer and I plan on getting back in school taking some pre requirements this summer. I am 24 years old and graduated high school as Salutatorian of my class. I completed my Bachelor's in Business Administration in 3 years and graduated as a honor graduate. I have been out of school for roughly 2.5 years now. I will continue to pray before fully committing but I am seriously considering Physical Therapy. Based off of a couple of schools I have looked at I have several science and psychology classes to complete for pre requirements before applying for a PT program. I would really like to shadow someone that is currently a Physical Therapist to get a solid feel for the job environment and also ask different questions concerning schooling etc. Thank you for anyone who is interested in helping me out!       My wife is an OT ( occupational therapist) i believe to be a full fledged OT she had to get her masters, not sure if PT is the same. But it is a very rewarding career and it pays pretty good as well. She contracts for $78 pr hr

        My wife is an OT as well. PT is a doctorate program now. My wife suggests talking with an out patient clinic and asking to shadow a therapist. Might also talk with a school you are interested in and asking them.

          Good idea...you'll have to shadow 20 hrs before getting I to the program for most schools as well. my neighbor is entering OT program and I just set her up with a therapist to shadow.

            Okay thanks for the replies guys. Yes I have been researching some schools and looks like I will be going doctoral route. One of the schools im interested in is having an open house end of July so I plan on going and soaking in some more information. In the meantime I will try and find a couple different PT to shadow as well.
