Any Conroe AC Techs on here?

Just curious if there are any local guys on TBH? Anyone looking for work?

try to trouble shoot the problem yourself. You might be surprised how easy they are to fix. As an example, my A/C unit stopped putting out cool air. I went outside and the condenser was working (humming) but the fan wasn't spinning. I tried to spin the fan and it was tough to turn. The fan motor went dead. I just replaced fan motor and it worked fine. Saved plenty of $$$$

LOL... Not always the case. Very seldom do you get an easy fix. If it were easy then everyone could do it

What's the issue? Maybe I or the numerous trained techs on here can help you out.

If you need a tech to come out, I have used Dugger's AC several times and have always been pleased with their results. Our very own Johnny pointed me their direction.

Of course it is true that it isnt always that easy, but it isnt near as hard as some think. Anyone with an IQ in the average range can do it.

Dont take it personally. Anyone in the average IQ range can do my job, too.

Carls A/C in Willis did me right a year or so ago. Capacitor went out on the morning of July 4. He actually called me back within a few minutes after I left a message. He sold me one off his truck within an hr or so of me calling.

Totally agree but sometimes you can fix it just like you might be able to make reasonable repairs on your vehicle. I wouldn't try replacing a cracked head in my truck but I will change the water pump.

X2 When the issue gets into being compressor- freon related you need to call the professionals, but run/start capacitors, contactors, fan motors can be worked on youself.

Oh I know, I was just messing with him. I wasn't offended at all. I know some techs that are quite dumb but good at what they do.

Not surprising, people just get scared when something like an AC or car or and anything of that nature breaks down. I for one can't fix anything besides a tire or light bulb on a vehicle. I won't attempt to even look at what's wrong further than that.

True ( like all trades ), and a good A/C guy is worth his weight in gold.

Ac is process of elimination like any trade. However, how good you are depends on how much time it takes. A well trained ac guy will take 20-30 minutes making the repair and verify nothing else is wrong. Where as average joe may take hours and get it fixed to find out that that broken part was broke because of another reason and spend another few hours getting it fixed. In the end spend more time and money trying to fix it then just pay a well trained tech to come out and fix and warranty the issue. So its all about piece of mind with us.

I am in the AC trade, just wondering if there are any other bow hunters local to Conroe that also happen to be in the trade.

If so don't ever run into any at the supply houses.... Give a guy a hollar.

Really, no local guys in the trade.
