We have been doing it for 11 years and the results have been great. A lot more day time activity than most people report. We have managed to keep a lot of our young bucks from year to year and I have gotten where I like to watch them grow up. Also I have seen a lot more deer behavior than I would have if I had been hunting with a gun. I have seen fights, seen them rub out of velvet, seen them breed, heard snort wheezes, heard grunts, heard growls.....none of which I would have seen/heard if I had just been shooting them with a rifle at 100+ yards. When I get too old to pull a bow I will change to a cross bow. I really don't see much rifle hunting in my future........

But have said all of that it appears that the lease that I am on is in the process of being sold. So far was have gone from 800 acres to 500. Pretty sure this is my last year on the place so next year if any of the bow hunting places have some openings let me know. I can probably fill as many opening as you have....LOL.....we have a great group of folks that are being displaced and I will vouch for any and all of them.

I've hunted bow only for a while now and have never been happier.

We've only got 120 acres. After all of the grandsons took a couple of deer with their rifles, I took the guns and bought them bows. No way I was gonna turn 5-6 people loose on the place with rifles at the same time. Now, every one of my hunters love bow hunting and said they'd never go back. OH, we do kill pigs and yotes with rifles when we seen them in the wheat fields in front of the house.
