I try to stay off the book of faces as of late but it sure did work wonders this weekend.
My Weim mix does not do loud noises, I have to put her up when I shoot my guns. She has like a panic attack, out of breath and shaking. Her eyes even dilate real big. Feel awful for her when she goes through it.
Anyways, a HUGE storm rolled through on Saturday and like I normally do when it thunders, I brought her in. Well about 30 mins pass and the storm has moved through and it is time for us to leave for a bday party for my niece.
Poor Lacy is having an attack because of the loud storm. I tried to comfort her as long as I could but had to leave and since the storm was gone, I hoped she would just get better while I was gone.
After I drove off, she attempted to follow us and ended up by hwy 290 and hwy 6.
Luckily a lady there posted a found dog on the Waller County News page and took her home.
Fast forward about 5 hours and we arrive home, Lacy does not come to greet us like she always does and right away I knew she freaked and ran. I go into find mode and drive all over trying to find her.
Meanwhile, my wife posts a lost dog ad in the Waller county buy sale trade pages. A woman saw it and tagged the two posts together and she was found. The next morning I met the woman that took her in for the night.
Glad to have my girl back! This was her when she got back to her house/bed on the porch. She slept most the day away yesterday! lol
