Is it ok to have a thermocell in ckd luggage on international flight?

I put two in bow case with about 4 refills and had zero issues back in January to Africa.

You can take the thermocel, but not the propane bottles. You will have to get them when you arrive.

Not the cartridges. My dad tried it and he had to remove the butane cartridges. It may have been a carry on though. But he was giving me one and I had to buy cartridges

If you are going bear hunting, take your thermocell. Your outfitter will either have cartridges, or take you somewhere to get them on the way to bear camp.

You could very well regret not taking a thermocell to bear camp!

I have a friend of mine who just got back from a dove hunt and buffalo hunt there about 2 wks ago! I'll ask him if he had any skeeter issues, and get back to you.

My buddy said he dove hunted near Cordoba, and did have skeeters there, but only around water. He said they used spray, and felt adequately protected. He buffalo hunted near LaPampa, and had no skeeters there.

I am not saying your supposed to but packed propane in my bow case to Canada and and back with no issues. If anyone is going to Canada bear hunting I would not take a thermacell......I would take two :-)

They are BUTANE cartridges...not Propane. I have flown with them many times in my checked baggage. But only on domestic flights.
