Yu Darvish this afternoon with the Rough Riders

Took my 11yr old to go see Darvish in what should be his last rehab start this afternoon with the Frisco Rough Riders. He threw mostly heat the first few innings, then worked on the nasty stuff for several more. I lost track of the pitch count, think it was in the eighties. He went 6 scoreless innings, throwing in the 95-96mph range, only gave up 3 hits and a couple of walks, and had a bunch of K's in a 7-1 win for Frisco.

Looking forward to seeing him in a Rangers uniform again!

I love watching him pitch, when he is on the mound I am watching, same thing when Nolan was pitching, used to love to watch him.

I wonder if most people can appreciate and know what a rare art form he really is? He is a master at his craft....I love to watch the guy pitch.

Could have used him against Oakland of course. Lewis and Hamels looked real good against Houston. Need him back sooner than later. Thanks for the update!
