So I just got a new drone and was out flying around today. My neighbor's daughter down the street (3 kids and still lives with parents) comes flying out of there house asking if it's my drone, I said yup sure is, then she goes inside.
I'm out mowing about 45 minutes later and the neighbor guy (her dad) pops off at me about my drone and it's an invasion of privacy, that he was shooting at it with his pellet gun and was going to shoot it with his 12 gauge. I politely told him that wouldn't be a good idea and would be a $1200 mistake on his part, not counting any civil charges for reckless discharge of firearm. He tried telling my that it wouldn't have mattered as it would be me replacing it and not him.
The conversation needed with me advising his to read up on the laws, as I was flying over his place just passing by, not taking pictures or videos (200' above the ground).
Oh the joys of neighbors. Funny thing was this guy is about the noisiest of all of them on my street.
