Am I inconsiderate

So here's the story

8 am Sunday morning I start mowing my yard, my neighborhood is what I think you would call patio homes small yards driveways in the front.

Usually every Sunday morning this is my routine, I not only mow my mine but at least one of my neighbors plus others if they need it and work on leaves in the street. I just had a neighbor across the street come out and kinda of get on to me about mowing this early. Non of my other neighbors have ever complained but maybe because they all benefit from what I do.

I stopped mowing and will wait till 9 like he asked but was wondering if I am being a jack hole neighbor. He came out fully dressed in slacks and dress shirt so I don't believe I woke him up

I don't think so. I saw a crew mowing yesterday at 6:45. If I'm tired, the sound of a lawn mower outside would help me sleep even better. None the less, 8 am is not too early imo

I person complaining doesnt make you jack hole. Nice of you to mow others yards for them. They must be your younger neighbors.....everyone knows us old people cant even sleep till 7.

Hung over neighbor? I think 8 is OK but in the interest of neighborhood peace wouldn't have a problem with waiting until 9:00 if I was asked nicely. If the guy was a jerk I start at 7:00 next week!

If it was before 7 am I would lean yes but after 8 am everyone is usually up besides the hungover

I'm up at 7 every morning, so you wouldn't bother me. Some people do get pissy about not getting to sleep in

You sound like a good neighbor. I wait a little later to do anything on Sunday only because folks either party Saturday and are hung over or other reasons.

You could always dod what i do, i took the muffler off of my mower once. That will really stir up the hornets nest. Hehehahahehe
