This was just attached to my wife's ankle biting her. I thought it was a tick at first but it's not. Looks kind of like a small leech but I don't think so. The small black things have been disappearing in and out of the body. We just went shopping at HEB so that's a wired place to have something like this get attached to you..

Looks like a slug by the pic, but I've never heard of a slug biting?

Yea it does look like a slug I guess. It was really small about the size of a kernel of corn. There is a pretty good hole and swollen spot on her ankle where it was biting here. Weird.

Slugs consume around forty times their weight in the space of a day. They can also stretch to approximately twenty times their length in order to squeeze through narrow gaps. Believe it or not, slugs have the ability to bite - they have approximately 27,000 teeth!

              Thanks google!

                    Slug.
We had those things at the back door like wolves in Llano. Salt first then just me stepping on them.

I never knew that. I can't remember where I was the other day when I saw the biggest slug I've ever seen in my life crawling up the side of a building. I almost took a picture of it but I couldn't see myself in a situation where I'd be talking about slugs any time soon. That sucker was a hoss.
