Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. Not sure how many times I rejected the request for an upgrade and it ended up doing it on its own anyway. Computer seems like it runs slower now.

I was forced into w10 for other reasons (my fault) and actually ended up really liking it. There are several really nice features, and it's enough like windows 7 I didn't have a problem.

I had to switch back several pc at work because there weren't drivers for some older printers and devices for Windows 10.

Most people probably didn't realize the message went from opt in to opt out. When they closed the dialog box for the update, you actually opted in.

Did this to my wife's computer a couple nights ago. She stumbled through it and has started using 10. I think she likes it.

Wait until it refuses to recogocnize wif and microsrub offers to fix your oc for a hundo.

It is a money grab. Plain and simple. Once you have done work in 10, if u revert back, u loose it all.

I am on my last microsoft pc i think

Be sure and go to control panel, and turn off ALL auto updates.

My wife and I have been using Win 10 since last year with few hiccups. I had one program that was not compatible and I switched what I used in that regard anyway. Win 10 is Win 7 with the Win 8 squares in the start menu. All that isn't necessary imo but I'm ok with the OS myself.

My dad had the same thing happen as far as automatic upgrade. He called me to ask what to do and I told him not to accept the terms and conditions so he didn't. It reverted back to Win 7.

I have been using Windows 10 for a bout a year and have had no problems. I had to reinstall Firefox other than that it is fine. Like Bill M said basically win 7 with win 8 app boxes that I don't use.

Happened to me too. It looked like there was no turning back until I declined all of the legal language cranial that it wanted me to agree to and then it promptly put my old operating system back on.
Works every time. You know it's not worth two nickels if they are giving it away.

Happened to me too. I had been declining the update and it looked like it had go e ahead and installed on its own. Our IT guy at work has been updating the work computers and mine was done about 3 months ago, since I already had been using it there I went ahead and did the update. No issues with it at work or home. Navigating is a little different though.

I upgraded all of my Windows 7 Pro systems to Windows 10 and have 0 problems. It's far superior to Windows 8 and enough like Windows 7, can't see what the fuss is about. 32 bit apps work fine on 64 bit OS.

I like it, then again I've been playing with it since the first community preview. Those complaining about an auto update, turn off the setting for auto updates. Otherwise it will act just like you phone and auto update the OS and apps. I'm guessing you are ok with your phone auto updating but not your computer?
