You can reset it back to previous version. Google it on line. A pretty quick fix....I had same issue last week. A real mess!

this is what happened to me as well. I got many, many request to go to windows 10. I always declined.

My machine shut down in a power outage. When I turned it back on, it came up with windows 10. At first I said hell no and turned it back off. Turned it on and same thing.

I hit the continue button and then declined it, and declined when it asked if I was sure. then it said it was re-installing my older version.

I NEVER wanted windows 10 to begin with. this is very intrusive of them. very scary as well.

MS sabotage pure and simple. This should be illegal since it can really mess things up. For example if your have an older 32bit printer or any other 32 bit peripherals they will no longer work most likely. All the windows 10 stuff is 64bit. Lots of programs drivers will also no longer work. I'm still running 32bit Vista and don't see any need to change.

I just switched mine back just now. What a joke. It did it to both my wife and my laptops.

I wonder if this is why my 3 year old all in one printer no longer works? It stopped working the same time my lap too went through the update.

I like it. But had to reload a different Anti-virus.

Mine tried to install W-10 yesterday without my permission. Fortunately, my Windows 7 computer is so old that it had a spasm at 32% of installation. It just hung up there, and this morning I shut it down and restarted. It said that installation of Windows 10 was unsuccessful & asked if I wanted to retry. I smiled as I politely told it NO!!!

You probably have to update the drivers for Windows 10 to get it to work. Visit the driver page for your device.

Man I have it and I guess I've been lucky. Now I'm kind of worried.
