i got a one gallon sprayer, need to know how much round up do i mix with how much diesel, want to forever kill weeds around the house.

Not sure why you are mixing roundup with diesel. Diesel will kill it all by itself and also sterilize it for a long time. -
Follow the label. Diesel is only needed if your target needs a surfactant.

I'm not a chemical expert but round up kills by getting it on the foliage, diesel will burn the foliage before the roundup is absorbed and work so it will not do any good. Diesel will burn grass and weeds for sure but i don't know if it will kill the roots.
Just use roundup, water, and some dish soap as a surfactant.
About 1 oz of roundup in a 1 gal sprayer and a little shot of dish soap after the sprayer is filled with water and shake up.Comment

A Glyphosate (main ingredient of Round Up) mixture of 2% in water will kill just about any grass and weeds. A gallon is 128 ounces. A 2% mixture would be about 2.6 ounces of Glyphosate per gallon of water.
Diesel is not required if you purchase the Glyphosate concentrate with a surfactant already added.Comment

Are you trying to spare the grass and just kill weeds? The round up (glyphosate) is not selective. It will kill everything.
