    Wasp prevention

What kind of coating or spray or any other methods do you use to keep wasps and dirt daubers out of your deer blinds and Duck Blinds over the summer. All the rain, grass and virtually no winter has everything wild out here.

Spray with Demon and hang a couple ear tags for cattle. No bugs at all.

I had good luck with the wasp strips as well. I also spayed my blinds with home defense as well. Had zero wasps last year

We use the pest strips as well. They work well. Then, around Labor Day we may set off a bug bomb to help exterminate any other creepy crawlers through the hunting season.

For years Ive been using cattle ear tags designed for fly repellent. Available at Tractor Supply or most feed stores, or online. Much cheaper than the strips and last about 6 months.

On our work weekend in Sept I make a run after dark and set off a bug bomb in each inclosed stand. Ease the door open and set the can inside and lock her back up. Been doing this for years and works great beats the heck out of getting in there with them and the one you miss every now and then only to find opening morning. No more wasp, spiders, and scorpions. Used to use Holiday fogger and worked great. The Raid ones are easier to find and work just as good.

Which brand? I've also read somewhere about mothballs? My sons have 8 rabbit cages and wasps tend to make nests in a couple of them. I'm trying to find something to hang on them that would discourage/ keep them away, where the rabbits couldn't get to it? Ideas?
