Best grass to plan for fast growth in late spring.

I've just finished a shop at my house and the pad is bear. I need to add some grass before too long as I don't want to it to wash.

Any suggesting on a grass that will grow particularly quick this time of year?

      Probably a good bit.

The sides that need to grow are on the north east and west. Very little shade trees.

Bermuda is best to plant when soil temps are a constant 70°F or better. It's about perfect time to sling some Bermuda seed.

We just put a bunch of burmunda last weekend. We've only been here a couple weeks but the sod the builder put down is already taking off well. It pretty much needs 100% sunlight and it's not a water hog once you get it established.

If it gets direct sun all the time then I recommend Bermuda in either seed or sod depending on how much money you want to spend and how fast you want it.

Ok. So it's been narrowed down to Bermuda. What would be better, sod or seed?

Seed is cheaper but sod gets established quicker,

I'm impatient. I would go Sod w/ Bermuda.
