I got this Damascus skinner from Brian (Leon County Slayer) in 2011. I did a deer and a pig with it in CA. When our son moved to Montana in 2012, as he was loading his truck and trailer I picked it up off my bench and gave it to him as a goodbye gift.
Three Montana elk, a bunch of deer, and 2 antelopes later (there's probably more when he helped field dress his friend's animals) it finally needed a good sharpening. I brought it home in January to bring to the local knife guy who put the original wicked sharp edge back on it.
I also restitched the sheath with bow string to repair stitching that was starting to come out.
It's going back to Montana when I drive out to meet our grandson in a couple weeks. Amazing steel, and a great hunting knife from TBH- Thanks Brian!
