22 ammo at Academy

Local Academy in Tomball finally lifted limits on 22 ammo in packs of 100 rounds or less. The bulk packs were still limited to 1. This was a notice sent from the regional office. The gun associate was stocking an end cap shelf with plenty.

Last I heard I thought you could buy up to 500 rounds now

I am going buy the entire end cap tomorrow in the Woodlands and Spring!!! LOL!!!

A lot of stores have significant inventory. It is expensive at 6 cents per round. The 4-5 cent ammo naturally sells fast. Kills the market for the Walmart reselling clowns. They will have to figure out another gig to make $20 profit.

Interesting that my last few trips to Academy , I haven't seen any .22 LR. I'm not hurting for it, but I found it all the time at that location while everyone else was complaining of shortages.

I brought 1000 rounds the other day and 2000 rounds about 3 weeks ago

Grizz, here in Burleson, it's the only ammo behind the counter. Not sure why everything else is in the open.

Didn't know there was still a limit. About a month ago I bought 1k aguila subs (2 bricks) but it wasn't on the shelf
