I got an estimate to have a couple panels done where my driveway has settled. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet but it seems to work well . They quoted me $700 for the job but they told in order to warranty the job I would have get the expansion joints re-sealed. They didn't do that but recommended a contractor that would.

Thanks. I have one panel that is 3-4" low. I need my joints done too.

If you are talking about sealing an expansion joint, its quick and easy. Home Depot sells Sikaflex which is a self leveling sealer. Just put a foam backer rod in the joint 1/8" wider than the joint and caulk away. You can use their Concrete fix to cap the ends of the expansion joint. The 28oz tubes are a better deal than the standard 11oz or whatever they are tubes.

I need this done too and have been wondering what the cost is. My driveway is in 4 sections and one has dropped about 3" on the street end. Makes a nice parking aid because I back in and let my rear tires just drop over it leaving the nose of my truck just short of the sidewalk.

When I bought the house the home inspector warned that it was a trip hazard and I could be held liable if someone is hurt on it. Neighborhood kids play in my drive all the time.

Keep this in mind as you seek and receive bids, replacement of flatwork concrete will start at $7/sqft.
