Does anyone have the 5.4l Triton V8 in the F-250?

I no longer have a company truck and I'm looking at a 2008 model with that engine. Is it as under powered as I'm thinking? All I've driven for the last 17 years is a Powerstroke so I have nothing to compare it to.

Sure sounds like it. My 5.4 barely moved my f-150 when I put 33's on it.

You will be disappointed going from a powerstroke to a 250 with the 5.4.

That's what I'm thinking. It just happens to fit the budget and it's right down the road.

I dont but I have a 2013 F250 with the gas 6.2l and it is sluggish to me. I cant imagine going even smaller.
