    4 wheeler help

I have a 2002 honda rancher 350 that was flooded like the rest of our lease during the release. I have drained oil and installed a new carburetor. I keep putting oil in and filter and run for about 2 minutes and then drain oil. I have changed it 8 times and still every time I drain it, it comes out full of water. Any tips on speeding this process? I have paid more for oil than I have for a new carb. Thanks in advance!

I sunk a 4 wheeler so bad once, it took 8 oil and filter changes to keep the oil from getting milky.

ended up putting a small amount of diesel in the crank case and turning engine over, then draining all the fluids. i let it drain a week, before i put oil back in it.

there is no real short cut that I know of that wont cut corners, try not to run it for very long between flushes, as with water comes other contaminates that can and will scar the cylinder wall and cause the rings to not seat, and loss of copression and blow by. Once you feel you are 100% on getting everything cleaned out run it for a day, then change everything again including diff fluids as they are probably milked as well. also if it was in deep water you may want to unplug every electrical connection and coat them with dialectric grease to help prevent corrosion at connecting points. Good luck

No the airbox has been dry since I started working on it. Took fuel tank off and cleared it and same as the air intake. Just taking forever to clear it out, I only let it run for 2 minutes tops then change oil again and it just doesn't seem to slow down.

Did you take out the spark plug and tip the four wheeler up side down? It may have some water on top of the piston, especially if the intake valve was open

We had it lifted front end to drain tail pipe and I have pulled spark plug and turned over the motor to clear top until no more water came out. Now with the oil drain open I pull the rope just enough to turn over motor and more dumps out. Should I keep at it this way or try to flip it?

Fill completely and flush with diesel.

You can also run sea foam mixed with the oil in the crank case for short periods of time.
