    Silver collectors. Value question.

I bought some silver today and need to know about the value of one piece in particular. I know what spot is. I looked it up and found a few WAY over spot and it's a serialized limited piece.

This one as well. It's limited to 999 pieces. This is number 052. It's 1 Troy ounce and is marked on the side but hard to get a picture of.

I have no idea, but that is a cool piece. I'm curious what everyone else says...

        just my opinion

silver is trading at $17.17 , guessing each piece is worth $1-2 more , $20 tops

I've found the Paradise Peak bar as high as $64

Being limited I'm hoping it's worth a good bit over spot. But who knows LOL

did it actually "sell" for $64 or is it currently listed on ebay for $64 with a BIN ?

silver peaked at around $50 due to 911, as $15 ~ $25 will be the avg trading price. Rare collectible coins bring more $$$ but I'm not sure your pcs. fall into that category

if someone offers you $64, take the $$ and run

I would think they carry little value over that of spot price since they are scratched and tarnished. Someone with sentimental value may pay a bit more but probably not much more than spot price.

No. That's why I'm asking. Not many prices to compare to. I think the Stamford one would have to be someone from there. The FMC piece is what throwing me. And heck id take $50 for it even

A lot of private company's will mint there own silver and say it's a limited run. The 2 pieces above are what I would consider generic silver and only worth their weight in silver

There are some collectible silver bullion that's worth way more than spot but s typically minted from a nations mint and usually a proof edition

eBay listings are crazy but there are tricks to see what a piece actually sells for compared to what someone is asking--I always told my customers I could paint my dogs poop gold and ask $10,000 an ounce but doesn't mean anyone will ever buy it

Coin book pro is a good app to find value on certain gold & silver coins

They are worth spot minus a few dollars wholesale or spot plus a few dollars retail. If you get someone to pay you more than that you should take it and run. There is no real collectors market for one off runs like that.....except maybe to a handful of people who are sentimental about the subject matter. Bottom line is, anyone can go to a private mint with a design and buy a run of "limited edition" bars or rounds or whatever with any subject matter they wish.

If you were offering Lapua brass, or Vihtavhouri powder I would likely enter into a purchase agreement
