If you don't have the full version of Adobe to be able to convert it you can always try saving the pdf as a word doc.

just open the pdf, hit save as, and select the type of file as a word document.

I'm fairly certain that won't work. You can't just change the file extension and create an editable version

Mine did. But I have the full version of adobe as well. Try it, tell me if it works for you.

Although, it may make a difference if the pdf is just a scanned pdf or if it was actually originated from adobe.

Adobe...the full version is how I do it. Not always 100% accurate but gives you a working .docx document
