    Shooting with bifocals Q

    Anyone else here do this?

I was trying to shoot last weekend and I cant seem to get the sight picture correct. I gotta turn my head nine kinds of was to get the sight pins in focus. I was shooting all over the place.

I bought a pair of single vision glasses at $39 glasses to shoot with when I got my first pair of progressives....

I ended up being able to shoot my bow with my progressives but I shoot shotguns with my single vision.

I've been shooting with them for years without a problem--guess I've just adjusted to them.

I also have a pair of single vision (shooting glasses) I use for tournaments and hunting. I started wearing glasses 3 years ago after a retinal detachment surgery. I had them made with the center of vision moved as far as possible to the inside to get a clearer picture. I also found that taking out a 1/2" of draw length out helped to get my sight picture in my lens instead of on the line of the frame.
