Yea and nobody can do that part for you. Mine will do that but I still can't get the most out of my bow performance wise without a press and drawboard at minimum.

No doubt about that. If I started selling it most of the guys using the service would probably be just starting out learning to tune.

That said I typically just get quality arrow flight from a bow which i believe results in improved penetration and better grouping.

Nothing i've ever done gets 20 fps out of a bow

I'm not sure he builds them so you'd have to ask him. doesn't void warranty and it was less then $250
Yea 20fps is a lot. Makes me think either somethings was was out of spec before, the new strings have a quite a few less strands, or both. You usually hear of 5fps to MAYBE 10fps gains if any

I can do some magic with bows as well. I've learned from one of the best tuners in the country on squeezing more out of a bow.
My turn around time is significantly shorter also.
I've got one bow shooting a 552.6gr arrow 11fps over what any calculator I've tried has it rated at and another shooting the same 552.6gr at 269-272fps set at 29.5/70

          Plus, I'm in E TX

I sent a my bow into him, no complaints. I do have that bow for sale though if anyone is interested.

While he had my bow I was shooting my old bow and found it to be easier to shoot (Solo Cam knock off / Kodiak Bow Logic). I ended up buying a Mathews NoCam.

Curious now. Who did you learn from?

he got 10 out of the heli-m but i think the halon just performed and improved better. Glen at WHA set up my Halon and rick did a little work. It was shooting in the low 270's and shooting well. I don't think it was set up poorly i just think he got more out of the halon.

Either way I'm pleased as punch

I think speculation on exactly what is done is a little off base. I also find comparing your services to those of one the most well known heavy weights in the business laughable. Not saying you don't know your way around a bow and what not but again, selling Crackers short is a little foolish IMO.

You cannot make a bow preform better than broadheads and field points hitting together at 100 yards. I don't care how many extra fps you can get out of a bow anything over 280 fps is just like having a **** measuring contest. Don't get me wrong I'm sure he does a good job but I think it's dumb to have someone tune a bow for you when most of the time you will have to change it when you get it back anyway.

I could possibly see it being useful for guys shooting 50-60 pounds to gain a little speed but even then speed isn't worth 250$. Your better off learning to tune your bow yourself

Mike Carter is way more than a shop owner that does custom tuning. He has and still does consultant work with many of the bow manufacturers. He has also built many strings/cables for prototypes for these companies.

Any of you remember the Waddel commercial where he shoots the bow that has enormous cams on it?? That was a real bow, built by Mike, specifically for that commercial.

I did a few years ago, I wasn't impressed. My bow came back with a huge amount of cam lean. I called him and let him know my trouble, so I sent it back and he fixed it. It was a three month wait the first time and $200, I don't feel like it should have left his shop without being truly "Crackerized". But he made it right and things happen, just cost an extra $30 in shipping, the strings are really nice and seemingly everyone has a good experience. I will not use the service again though.

Just watch if they are calling this super tuning, have heard that if you have an Elite super tuned it'll void your warranty.

I've purchased three bows from Mike (Crackerized of course) and spent many an hours on the phone with him. He is a stand up guy and know what he is doing.
