I found this on my lease in Cave Creek near Fredericksburg in an area with a whole bunch of tiny rocks and quite a bit of flint rock, it looks to me to be a spear head but im not sure. The very tip is broke off, just courious to see what you guys think

Doesn't look like a finished point. Mebbe something someone was practicing with or wasn't able to finish. The top right does look like it has been worked. A better pic might tell more.Comment

It actually looks like a leftover from a piece that flakes were taken from. The flakes were probably made into points. The scar pattern does not look as if it was to be a point. It could have been used as a scraper for something but there is not enough edge preperation to have been very sharp. ETComment
