And snakes! Lots and lots of scary snakes. Stuff that'll make ya poop and pee at the same time.

No firearms, lost them on the boat, no need for ammo.

I shoot about 10 - 12 boxes of shotgun shells a year, maybe 10 - 20 large rifle rounds, couple boxes of 22 , thats about it, now if they do something with archery i may have to stock up on a few more arrows.

Still waiting for all the stuff the nuts said Obama was going to do. Checks and balances people, the president doesn't have nearly as much power as people make it out to be.

Did you ever think that if people would quit trying to stock up no one would need to

That's kind of like asking "Why is the sunset good, why are boobs good?"

                It's ammo, man!

I'll probably buy 5-10 boxes of 17HMR for hunting just so I can have it before the hoarders start making it all ridiculous to get a hold of. ......but I'm not planning for the apocalypse if that's what you are asking....

Unless it is shotgun shells. I don't burn through much stuff.

3 states have already adopted legislation that added .02 cents on every .22LR and .04 cents for center fire ammo.

Hillary will double that and make it across the board for shot shells or whatever.

I've still got a fair amount stored away but I will probably add a few more boxes of my most used ammo.

Good point. Great excuse to purchase more "bang beans".

So you think Obama (and his admin) had nothing to do with the gun scare? And nothing to do with the lack of ammo or $2,000 ARs?

So Hillary won't cause a gun scare either?

It's not like ammo gets moldy like unused hot dog buns. Why not stock up? Worse case when you think it's getting too old you go have fun shooting the ammo.

I would say if you are low on something to go ahead and get it while the market is fair...nothing tastes so bad as to pay too much for ammo you need during the frenzy. It will swing that way but who knows when.

You can always sell any overage at a premium & replace when it cycles back down. Don't listen to the tin foiler comments, it's not bad $$$ spent or something for shooters to be indifferent towards...just wait till ammo goes nuts again & you can grin & ping this thread to the top.

The politcal climate right now has to be a dream come true for the NRA and gun manufactures.

Unfounded fear has made them some serious money the last few years.
