Clarifier or Verifier anyone try these????

Now that I'm older (50's) my eyes aren't what they once were. I have glasses for reading, glasses for driving at night. I can't do the bifocal thing and my vision is good enough I don't where glasses for distance, except for night driving.

I've tried shooting with glasses, I can do it but either the target or pin is clear but not both.

I'm trying the Verifier and even though it takes some getting used to, it seems to be working fairly well for target shooting. I don't know how well it will work for hunting. The biggest issue I have with it is I can't see my whole sight ring and so I have to go back to centering the pin only.

Any of you guys use either one of these and if so what did you think?

tried / used them for target and 3D archery but I would not for hunting. There is too great a chance for dew or dust or who knows what to get on the lense and mess up your shot. just my $.02

Tried them both...eyes not bad enough for a clarifier, and the verifier you had to keep both eyes open for it to work...too many things to think about while I'm shooting, besides, I wear a clarifier on my face when i shoot anyways...(glasses)

I use the # 5 1/4 verifer for hunting ( use a large ring spott hog and can see the sight and pens) and the #5 1/8 inch for target. The pens are in forcus and I can see the target just fine. Without the verifier the pens are way to fuzzy.

The insert size must be different between the 2, I'm using the 1/4 in verifier with an Extreme 900 sight and can't see the sight ring

It is kind of a pain but it sure is nice to be able to see both the pins and target clearly

The one on the hunting bow has the 1/4 inch opening... If I change to the 1/8 inch (for target) it has a reducer. My bow is set at 29.5 inch draw length and I use the HOGG IT (non hunter) on both bows. I see the entire sight ring. It could be the combination of draw length and the sight being almost 6 inch's in front of the bow? Almost impossible for me to see the pens without the verifer.

it must the distance the sight is out front of the bow, since I have a 29.5 draw also. Mine says 1/4 in but I think that is without the insert
