I lived in Rapid City SD for 7 yrs before moving here. 100% ALL spot and stalk, absolutely NO baiting, no deer leases.

Moved to Texas, deer leases, and baiting deer. To me, its not "hunting" its shopping. You sit and wait for the dinner bell to go off and you shoot the biggest one. But, i take my 3 daughters with me and i get to have quality daddy daughter time. I get to introduce them to the outdoors. I get to teach them respect. I get to teach them family values. I get to teach the importance of life. My daughters love venison. I actually have to hide my venison from them or they will clean me out. To me, THAT is what life is all about. So i dont care if i have to "shop" for venison, or get ot any other way. Thats what is important to me.
I hunted Ca for 25 years and there is absolutely no baiting but I still consider sitting at a feeder hunting because I don't get a shot opportunity every sit but when I go to the grocery store shopping I get something every time.
